This Privacy Policy also tells you about your rights and choices with respect to your personal information, and how you can reach us to update your contact information or get answers to questions you may have about our privacy practices. This Privacy Policy also tells you how we use tracking technologies, cookies, and browsing data we collect from your use of our Services, the measures we take to protect the security of the information you provide to us through our Services, and how you can contact us at contact@nomology.com if you have any questions regarding our Services.

By using our Services, you expressly consent to our collection, use, disclosure, and retention of your information relating to your use of our Services. Our goal is to collect and use information to deliver effective and personalized services, which take your interests and preferences into account, as well as for our legitimate business needs and interests.

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT

There are two main types of information we collect about users of our Services that include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Information that identifies you: this is commonly referred to as “Personally Identifiable Information” and includes, for example, information that you provide to us such as your name, email address, and company and if you ask for access to or demonstrations of any of our products; and

  • Information that relates to you, but on its own does not identify you (“Non-Identifiable Information”): such as information about your Internet connection, the equipment you use to access our Services, the type and version of your device’s operating system or web browser, in some cases your device’s location, and information relating to your usage of our Services.

Personally Identifiable Information and Non-Identifiable Information will both be referred to as “Personal Information.”

HOW AND WHEN WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION

The methods we use to collect information about you are as follows:

  • As Provided by You

    • For example, when you request products or services from us, when you register with us, respond to surveys, apply for a job, contact us or otherwise interact with us. Please remember that if others use devices into which you remain logged in, they may share information with us as if they were you, and they may have access to information that you have previously provided us. To protect your privacy, please log out from our online services that you access from public or shared devices.

    • Via the settings section of your Account, you may choose to opt-in and allow Nomology to connect to one (1) or more of your Advertising Accounts (e.g., Google Ads Account) so that Nomology may access data from the applicable Advertising platforms on your behalf (such data collectively called the “Authenticated Data”). Nomology may use Authenticated Data to improve the Services for you (e.g., by using such data to deliver analytics insights) and to improve the Services overall. Your authenticated data will be available only to Nomology. This data is stored in the Nomology’s database until the access to the Google Ads account is revoked. In such a case, the data will be deleted from the Nomology's database within thirty (30) calendar days after the access is revoked.

  • Automatically

    • When using the Site, information is collected through cookies to keep track of user interactions with our Services. We may use our own technology for that purpose, and we also may use third party services such as Google Analytics, in which case those third parties gather Personal Information such as your IP address, browser type, the webpage from which you came to the Site, and the times of your access to our Services. In addition, as you browse the Site and other Nomology’s URLs, advertising cookies may be placed on your computer so that we can understand what you are interested in. Cookies are more fully detailed below.

United States Supplemental Privacy Notice

The following states have implemented further requirements regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information: (1) California, (2) Colorado, (3) Connecticut, (4) Nevada, (5) Utah, and (6) Virginia. Those requirements are further detailed in the attached Schedule A which is in addition to, and incorporated into this Privacy Policy.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We (and our service providers) use information to:

  • provide the online services you have requested;

  • respond to your inquiries, requests, and comments;

  • protect the safety of users and others on our Services;

  • understand how our Services are used so that we can continuously improve them;

WHERE YOUR INFORMATION WILL BE USED

Nomology is based in the United States and may from time to time transfer your personal information to other countries and make it accessible to any of our affiliates and third-party service providers internationally. Where the transfer of information is to a country that does not provide an adequate level of information protection, Nomology has taken steps to ensure that your personal information receives an appropriate level of protection.

If you are located outside of the United States, please be aware that information we collect, including personal information, may be transferred to, and processed, stored and used in the United States. Under United States law, your personal information may be subject to access requests from governments, courts, or law enforcement in the United States. By using our Site and providing your personal information to us, you understand and agree that your personal information may be sent to other countries including those which do not provide an equivalent level of information protection as the European Economic Area (EEA).

From time to time, we may revise this Privacy Policy to reflect industry initiatives, changes in the law or technology, or changes in our practices regarding information collection and use. If we make material revisions to the way we collect or use your personal information so that we are using it for purposes or sharing data with third parties that you have not consented to, we will provide you with notice of those changes and may do so by either: (1) announcing the change on the home page of our Site or (2) taking other actions as we deem appropriate under the circumstances, including without limitation, posting the revised version of this Privacy Policy online. This Supplemental Notice describes Nomology’s (“we,” “us,” “our”) practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information and provides instructions for submitting data subject requests.

Some portions of this Supplemental Notice apply only to consumers of particular states. In those instances, we have indicated that such language applies only to those consumers.

To the extent terms used in this Supplemental Notice are defined terms under the applicable US State Privacy Law, they shall have the meanings afforded to them in those statutes, whether or not capitalized herein. As there are some variations between such definitions in each of the state statutes, the definitions applicable to you are those provided in the statute for the state in which you are a consumer. Right to Know and Right to Access. You have the right to request certain information we have collected about you. You have the right to request:

  • The categories of Personal Information we shared, sold or disclosed;

Right to Delete. You have the right to request that we delete certain personal information that we have collected.

Right to Correct. You have a right to request that we correct any inaccurate personal information we may retain about you.

Separately, you have the right in CA to instruct us to limit the use and disclosure of your Sensitive Personal Information to only that which is necessary to perform the services or provide the goods reasonably expected by an average consumer or for specific business purposes defined by law.

We do not use Sensitive Personal Information for purposes beyond those authorized by the CCPA, or beyond your consent.

Right to Non-discrimination. You have a right to exercise the above rights, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Please note that a legitimate denial of a request to access, delete, or opt-out is not discriminatory, nor is charging a fee for excessive or repetitive requests.

You may designate an authorized agent to exercise your rights under the CCPA on your behalf. Such individual must have power of attorney, or be an authorized agent registered with the relevant Secretary of State.

Right to Appeal. You have the right to appeal our decisions about your data subject requests. If you choose to appeal, your request will move from our digital team to legal for review. If you would like to appeal a decision regarding your data request, please email us at contact@nomology.com.

Verification Process. When you submit a request to exercise your data subject rights, we may ask you to provide information that will enable us to verify your identity.

If you designate an authorized agent to exercise your rights on your behalf, we may require that you or the authorized agent do the following:

  • Verify your identity with us directly.

  • Provide proof of your signed written permission for the authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

We may deny a request from an agent purportedly acting on your behalf if we request, and the agent does not submit, proof that he, she, or it has been authorized by you to act on your behalf.

Personal Information of Minors
Our online content is not intended for children or minors under the age of sixteen years. Accordingly, we do not knowingly store information from minors under the age of sixteen years, except as required by applicable law.
